The best quality hardy pear. Large fruit, sweet, excellent for fresh eating, and good for canning. Requires another variety as a pollinator. Should be picked 1 week before maturing and allowed to ripen off the tree. Fruit is of good size and quality. Very tender and juicy. A good pollinator for most other pear trees.
