Description
Gold Nugget is a small buttercup type that won the All America award in 1966. It was originally bred to be a sweet potato substitute for areas with short growing seasons. The fruit is 1-3 pounds. The shape is a flattened oval, with flesh and skin a light orange. Compact bush. Keeps well.
