How to Water Sun, Part Sun, Morning Sun Baskets & Containers:
- Turn the hose on low. Fill with water until the pot overflows. Water should go over the top of the pot, not just out of the drain hole in the bottom. Wait.
- Repeat. Wait.
- Repeat. Wait.
- Repeat until the root ball is fully saturated. This will take a different amount of time each day. If it is raining, it will happen faster. If it is hot and windy, it will take longer. A basket or container cannot be overwatered, unless the drain hole is plugged. Containers take less water than baskets.
- Mix one teaspoon of Fertilome Rooting and Blooming with a gallon of water. Add one cup to each basket and/or container each day.
- If it is a really hot, windy day, you can add a bit more water in the afternoon if you would like, but if you completely saturate the root ball, large and XL baskets should only need water once a day. Mini, small and medium baskets usually need a bit more water in the afternoon.
